Per mL Tobramycin 3 mg, dexamethasone 1 mg
Indications/Uses
Steroid-responsive inflammatory ocular conditions for which a corticosteroid is indicated & when bacterial ocular infection exists.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 4-6 hrly. During the initial 24-48 hr, dose may be increased to 1-2 drops 2 hrly.
Contraindications
Viral diseases of the cornea & conjunctiva eg, epithelial herpes keratitis (dendritic), vaccinia & other viral infection. Mycobacterial eye infection. Fungal diseases of ocular structures.
Special Precautions
Pregnancy & lactation (prolonged use).
Adverse Reactions
Lid itching & swelling; conjunctival erythema; localized ocular toxicity & hypersensitivity.
